All of the old guys like Brady, Rodgers, Brees and Rivers are going to be gone so it is time for the new crop. These are the Top 10 stars in five years:
I cannot envision a world where Mahomes does not stay at the top. His stats are like no other QB and his command of the NFL is not only just starting but will be peaking. Of course Joe Burrow is two. He is the best prospect since Andrew Luck and has been compared to Joe Montana. We have expected Trevor Lawrence to be a stud even though our boy wiped his team out in the National Championship game. He is going to be really good, that’s the bottom line.
There is a lot/hate with Sam Darnold but if he did not get sick last year he would have a statistically amazing year. He has been on the rise but people love hating on the Jets. Kyler Murray is a pure athlete and he is only going to get better with talent around him. They will dial it in for him in Arizona and he will be a serious weapon. Josh Allen has a cannon but is not accurate. The Bills are on the slow rise so I see them figuring it out for him. He will become more accurate and when he does he becomes a Brett Favre type player.
Watson needs a new team and he needs it fast. BoB is destroying that place but if he lands somewhere he will get everything he needs and when he does watch out! Drew Lock was sneaky good last season and Denver is well run. Remember the Bengals were interested in him for a reason. People are going to hate that Lamar is so low but he plays to get hurt and I think that could greatly hinder his career. The dude is getting better each year and is becoming a competent passer but he is high risk/high reward.
Trey Lance pulls in the rear. Everyone just said “who the heck is that guy?” He plays for North Dakota State and you better pay attention. This might be a long shot but that list will be five years old and if you don’t think someone in the next five drafts outside of Lawrence is going to be on that list then you are crazy!
