A lot of fans have been up in arms this offseason that the Bengals have not unveiled a new jersey to sport with their new quarterback and new hope (RIP Luke Skywalker). It makes perfect sense to me why we are not donning new dope outfits for the big stage like the Rams, Browns, Chargers, Falcons and Patriots. The answer is always money. Why unveil a new jersey when you can all but the 2020 Burrow and Higgins jerseys with the old look and then in 2021 roll out some sweetness that will have you thirsting for more. Classic bait and switch and we will all fall for it.
